In our community people with intellectual disabilities are at the heart of L'Arche. They're not clients, patients, or recipients of services, but rather they are friends, teachers, and companions.
People with intellectual disabilities grow through their encounters in L'Arche. Through daily acts of care, trust, and friendship, they develop into ambassadors of compassion and leaders for social change and the common good.
A divided society is mended through inclusivity; where people with many differences–social-economic status, race, religion, and intellectual capacity–live and work together.
L'Arche Erie along with the Community Blood Bank will host a blood drive on Monday July, 18th from 10 AM to 1 PM at the L'Arche Erie office, 3745 West 12th Street.
If you are interested in giving blood that day and would like to sign up for a time slot, please contact Jess Haney at email@example.com
