FT Human Resource Manager & Administrative Team Leader

This is a supervisory position that manages the Administrative Team (Human Resources, Fiscal Manager, Director of Development, Office Manager) working in close collaboration with the Executive Director/Community Leader.  He/she operates as the Human Resources Manager for L’Arche Erie. *Click job title above for a more in-depth job description. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university in a field that includes coursework in leadership, management, data analysis and interpersonal relationships; Degree in Human Resources, Business or Organizational Management preferred.
  • Certification in Human Resource field or ability to obtain certification within first year.
  • Respect and appreciation for the values expressed in the mission/vision of L’Arche.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to lead and develop team members.
  • Above average oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Criminal History and Driver’s Record Clearances.

 

FT Human Resource Assistant

The HR assistant is a member of the HR team and provides support to the HR Manager in areas of employee and volunteer recruitment and orientation/initial training.  He/she will manage recruitment activities including programs with colleges/universities, churches, volunteer groups and interested persons identified via social media and events.  *Click job title above for a more in-depth job description. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An Associate Degree or at least 60 credit hours from an accredited college/university in education, human resources, business, or a related field; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

FT Program Specialist

This is a supervisory position that works directly with Home Leaders in the management of the home in areas which oversee the health, safety, and programmatic needs of our core members.  He/She ensures compliance with legal and licencing regulations and contract requirements. *Click job title above for a more in-depth job description. 

Role Responsibilities:

-Know and understand relevant federal, state, local laws/regulations, contract requirements related to providing services to those with intellectual disabilities.         

-Coordinate home/program prep for licensing reviews. 

-Work with Support Coordinators, consultants, and other professionals regarding the needs of core persons.

 

Qualifications: (one of the following)

-Master's Degree and one year work experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities.

-Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of work experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities.      

-Associate's Degree or 60 credit hours and four years work experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities. .
